The Notification Center in the iOS 5 is a great new feature which helps you keep track of weather, stocks, calls, your email and alot more. You can customize it by adding or removing widgets but that's all Apple allows you to do to customize its appearance. One might like it but it might get old for the other.
If you have a Jailbroken iDevice running iOS 5 and are interested in changing the look of your notification center or are interested in trying all new jailbreak tweaks like me, then consider installing BlurriedNCBackground from Cydia. What it does is, it adds an awesome blurry transparency effect to your slide down notification center. It might effect the performance a bit at first but playing around with the tweaks settings and changing the blur settings will make it all good.If you install it, do let us know what you think about the tweak.
